After 21 days, Tirzepatide should be in a refrigerator that stays between 36°F and 46°F to keep it primed and ready to do its job. Any temperature below 36°F can have the same effect as storing your doses in a place that’s too warm.

Can You Travel With Tirzepatide?

You can take Tirzepatide with you wherever you go. For domestic air travel in the US, you can take medically necessary medicine with you on the plane. You’ll need to make sure your name and the pharmacy label are visible so TSA knows you’re not trying to pull anything over on them. As for international travel, you’ll have to check with the countries you plan to visit to see if they accommodate liquid medication.

Your best bet is to keep your injection pens in your carry-on bag. Cargo areas on planes can have extreme temperature changes that affect Tirzepatide (think heat when you’re waiting on the tarmac and cold when you’re up in the air).
